Beckett Lawyers · Australia
We advise individuals and businesses across Australia on wills and estates, migration, commercial matters, and disputes — with the kind of straight-talking guidance you'd want from a friend who happens to be a lawyer.
About the Firm
Beckett Lawyers was built on a simple idea: you deserve advice you can actually understand, from someone who treats your matter like it matters — because it does.
No jargon, no padded files, no being passed between people who don't know your name. When you call Beckett Lawyers, you speak with someone who listens to the full picture, explains your options in plain English, and tells you honestly what we'd do in your position.
Whether you're planning ahead for your family's future, navigating a visa application, structuring a business deal, recovering from an injury, chasing money you're owed, or facing a dispute you didn't ask for — the approach is the same: listen first, advise clearly, act decisively.
What We Do
Six areas of practice, one standard of care — handled personally, not handed off.
Wills, powers of attorney, probate, and estate administration — planning for certainty now, and clear guidance for your family if a dispute ever arises later.
Visa applications, appeals, sponsorships and citizenship matters, handled with the precision migration law demands and the patience the process deserves.
Contracts, business structuring, leasing and acquisitions — practical advice that protects your deal without slowing it down.
Compensation claims for motor vehicle, workplace and public liability injuries — pursued firmly, with genuine care for what you're going through.
From the first demand letter through to enforcement — efficient, no-nonsense action to get money that's owed to you back where it belongs.
Civil and commercial disputes managed from negotiation through to trial, with honest advice on cost, risk, and the outcome you can realistically expect.
How We Work
Before any advice is given, we take the time to properly understand your situation, your goals, and what's actually at stake for you.
You'll always know where things stand, what your options are, and roughly what each option will cost — explained in plain English, not legalese.
Some matters need patience. Others need speed. We know the difference, and move accordingly.
